Big Brothers Big Sisters of Washington County would like to express its thanks to the sponsors and participants of the 23rd annual Bowl For Kids’ Sake fundraiser.  About 90 teams totaling 450 bowlers participated in this event, raising approximately $55,000 to benefit BBBS.

Special thanks to our event hosts, King Pin Bowl & Ale House, Dave’s Lanes, and Lighthouse Lanes, and to Quincy Resource Group for designing and creating special corrugated bowling pins for display at our event. 

We especially give thanks to all of our bowlers and those in the community that sponsored them through Bowl For Kids’ Sake pledges.  These fundraising efforts support the agency’s mission, “to put hope in a child’s future by putting a friend in a child’s life.”  The monies raised during Bowl For Kids’ Sake 2009 support children between the ages of 5 and 18 living in Washington County and enrolled as a Little with Big Brothers Big Sisters.
