sis·ter·hood (sstr-hd): an association of women who are connected together by a common interest or cause. The quality of being sisterly.
As a Big Sister with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Washington County, you are part of a sisterhood – connected to other dedicated Big Sisters by your common desire to make a personal difference in the life of a child through mentoring. Yet how each Big Sister approaches the mentoring a child is as diverse as the backgrounds, life experiences, and life stages of our mentors themselves.
In the spirit of sisterhood, we invite our Big Sisters to attend a social and mentoring support circle, The Sisterhood. The concept of The Sisterhood is to provide a volunteer driven, fun, and casual adult opportunity for Big Sisters to share their mentoring experiences, strategies and activity ideas. And to meet new friends and develop “match friendships”.
Join the Sisterhood for a pot luck at the BBBS office followed by MUSIC from Saving Savannah at the West Bend Germanfest!!
