Match Support-Part Time

Description: Come over to the positive side of Social Work! Big Brothers Big Sisters is a program of prevention and positive skill building achieved by  matching children facing adversity with volunteer mentors.  The primary function of this position is not to work with the children themselves but to provide support to volunteers, children, and parents in the mentoring program.  Match support is similar to ongoing case management.  Contacts are conducted by phone and in person and are on a set schedule with specific areas to monitor and support.  This involves contact with children age 6-18 and adults of all ages.  The goal of match support is to ensure child safety and to create healthy, long term relationships that change children’s lives and are rewarding for volunteers.
