Great Lakes Fishing
Enjoy a morning on Lake Michigan while trolling for fish followed by a picnic lunch on Sunday, June 22. Be to the Port Washington Marina between 5:00-5:30AM. Boats can hold 2-3 people. Anyone over 16 must have a fishing license to fish and a trout/salmon stamp. Plus you get to take home any fish you catch and the captains will clean them for you!
Be sure to dress weather appropriate, bring a snack and drink along if you wish, and wear tennis shoes.
Did we mention that there are awards for those who catch the most fish in weight?!

Washington County Juneteenth Celebration
Juneteenth is a federal holiday that celebrates the freedom of previously enslaved African Americans. The celebration will feature food (for purchase), activities, a variety of booths, and music for the duration of the event. The event will be at Pike Lake and lake activities are available but not sponsored or provided through our organizations or donors. The event is open to the public and free to attend.

Downtown sidewalk sale offering entertainment, refreshments, food and great deal! Organized by the Hartford Area Chamber of Commerce. Big Brothers Big Sisters will be there as a vendor, providing information to the community about what we do!
Silen Wake - Kayaking
5 Matches can join us for a kayaking adventure down the Milwaukee River, with Silent Wake who will teach and guide us on a 2-hour kayaking trip. First come, first serve! Matches, it’s time to take the 2025 Youthtrition Farmer’s Market Challenge! Stop by our booth on Aug. 2nd, and get your $10 (per match) and go shopping at the West Bend Farmer’s Market. The challenge is to find ingredients to make a tasty dish to eat together. Test your culinary skills and share your food creations with BBBSWC. Germantown National Night Out (NAC)
Hang out with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Washington County and other Germantown public services at this year’s Germantown N.A.C Night Out! Germantown National Night Out (Neighbors Against Crime Night) is an evening where community members can get to know their police officers and firefighters and learn about the many things our community has to offer. Enjoy a night of activities, food, raffles and demonstrations by the Germantown Fire and Police Departments.
Cedar Lake Picnic - Match Activity
Thanks to friends of Big Brothers Big Sisters, we are invited to Big Cedar Lake in Slinger, WI for a late afternoon/early evening of fun on the lake and a picnic. There are so many impactful nonprofits right here in our community. We invite you to join us in learning all about them, the great works that they do, and the resources they provide. So, without further ado we give you, our Taste & Learn Nonprofit Fairs. Each fair will showcase nonprofits that share similar missions, with one fair a month through September 2025.

Washington County Humane Society-iSucceed
Join us on a tour of the Washington County Humane Society on Wednesday, October 30 beginning at 6:30. We’ll be learning a little bit about the non-profit world, taking care of animals and learning their routines, and checking out the veterinary clinic on site. Be sure to RSVP by October 23 to let us know if you and your Little (6th grade and older) will be attending.
Spooktacular Halloween Extravaganza
Get ready and dress in your best…Halloween costume that is, for this years Spooktacular Halloween Extravaganza! Hosted at the Hampton Inn and Suites, Big Brothers Big Sisters will be having their annual Halloween party for our Bigs and Littles. Matches are encouraged to wear a costume (yes, both Bigs and Littles) and try to win themselves a prize for the Costume Contest.
Matches will be able to carve and decorate pumpkins together, participate in activities, and games to go with our Halloween fun.
Pizza, juice and water will be served.

"Sugar" Skull Decorating
Getting crafty sure is sweet! Join us on Thursday, October 17 from 6:00-8:00PM and decorate your own “sugar” skull to celebrate Dia de los Muertos.

Self-Care De-Stress Workshop

Fall Canvas Decor
Craft Club will be painting a fun Fall picture on canvas’ on Thursday, September 19 from 6:00-8:00PM. While we have chosen the image of creation, you get to make it your own by choosing your colors.

iSucceed Orientation Night
iSucceed is a monthly program that brings our Matches together to learn about careers and life skills from members of our community. This program supports our Littles in exploring a variety of career paths.
Orientation Night will be held on Thursday, September 12 from 6:00-7:00PM where Matches can learn more about what this wonderful program has to offer.

Putt Putt Palooza
This inaugural family friendly fundraising event will celebrate 55 years of one-to-one mentoring in Washington County. Big Brothers Big Sisters is part of one of largest donor and volunteer supported mentoring networks in the country which makes meaningful, monitored matches between adult volunteers (Bigs) and children (Littles). Our agency's very first Big Brother, Mike Bloedorn will make the first putt with his Little Brother, Dale! Mike was matched with Dale in 1969 and they are still active in each other's lives today! Purchase tickets today and join us for a day of fun at Stinger's Golf & Recreation in West Bend!
There are various ticket packages that meet different family’s interests and sizes. Have a little extra fun by partaking in our Out of Bounds games that will be available and enter to win one of fantastic raffle baskets.
