Big Brothers Big Sisters, greatly appreciates everything Bigs are able to do for the Littles in our program. You all do such an amazing job. We know that many of you have busy schedules and it can be difficult to think of some ideas of activities to do with your Little. Below are some ideas of activities you could do with your little at little to no cost.

Youth Mental Health First Aid is a skills-based training course that teaches participants about youth mental health and substance-use issues

Talkable Communities

 

Talkable Communities provides free online mental health trainings including Youth Mental Health First Aid, Question Persuade, Refer (QPR), Adult Mental Health First Aid, and It’s Time to Talk About It. These online trainings run monthly and are a important way to identify and recognize the signs and symptoms of mental health and substance abuse in youth and adults and provides valuable tools on how to offer hope and get help for someone in crisis. Trainings are typically 2 hours.
